I have an Acer Aspire 7750-6669
    1TB hard Drive. i3-2350
    2.3GHz, 6GB memory.

    BIG PROBLEM.

My laptop has been having an issue with out internet. I bought it 2 weeks ago, and it worked fine. Yesterday, It was connected to our wifi, but had no Internet acess. Other devices were connected to the internet, and worked without a problem. All the ip config checked out. I tried almost everything. New Profile, reset router, re-program router. Everything besides CMD: netsh, because it wouldnt let me reset those. Apparently, im not an Admin, however I am.

If I Restore my computer to a few days ago, it works. But when I turn it off over night, same issue pops back up. McAfee isnt allowing me to fully remove it. I tried for 2 hours.

Its supposed to have a DVD Super Multi DL Drive, but in the details, it says CD Rom Drive, and is dated 6/21/2006.

I also saw somewhere, that it said my Processor was actually an AMD. I cant find where it said it, cause I was trying to get rid of McAfee. But I will not be ok with an AMD, when I bought an i3. In the device manager, it has a manufactor date of 6/21/2006 also.

Instead of USB 3.0, the Device manager said it was standard Generic USB.

My Graphics card (HD graphics 3000) has no details on it at all. Nothing becides HD graphics family.

Also, on youtube, when I scroll down while watching a video, the Video jumps, then moves up as I scroll. Kinda like it lags.

I cannot move my cursor while scrolling also. Is that normal?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is Intel based- every 7750 is. It has an Intel chipset too so it cannot be used with AMD CPU.

DVD-RW drivers are also listed as "name cd-rom" in device manager- for Windows it's just an optical drive, driver date is also OK for generic Windows driver.

You Internet issue is most likely related to McAfee- try using specialized software that installs and cleans what's left of apps if Windows can't do it.
You may also want to visit McAfee's website to check if they don't provide an uninstaller.

Generic USB hub is how USB is listed at least for USB 1 and USB 2- I don't have USB 3 so I can't verify that but it should be no different.

What details are you expecting from HD graphics 3000?

So far it looks like you have an issue with McAfee and a bunch of non-issues.

What program would get in there and clean it out?

It did the same internet issue again this morning. The only change I saw dont to the computer was a system update.

Before powering down last night, I uninstalled and removed the 2 applications I downloaded(Modio, and iTunes) just incase McAfee didnt like them.

This problem has to be solved today, or Ill have to ship it back, and go another month without a computer.

Does this happen also while you're using LAN?

    Check this app from McAfee.
