Ok, I know it has been asked before if 8GB on a 6935G notebook (with a PM45 chipset) is possible. Well, I tried it out of curiosity, but with 8GB the laptop won't start. It seems that it freezes on loading the BIOS.

However, on 6GB it works flawless..... So now I'm running my 6935G (P8400) at 6GB, (which makes me still a kind of happy), with one 4GB module doing nothing :(.

Did anybody have more success to get 8GB running on this laptop?
