This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     8930 Speakers going out

    So, I purchased an 8930 a few months ago. Used it mainly for movies and music, but I moved to Europe and it worked fine. A couple of weeks ago, the speakers suddenly started crackling, and I couldnt fix it with any drivers.

    My solution was to go into Enhancements from the Sound panel and enable Swap Center/Subwoofer.

    That's fixed the problem, but if I disable it, my sound goes dead unless I reenable it.

    Hardware problem???
