    7720g problem with fan and 9600m gt

    hello every body,,,,,
    i changed my gpu (old 9500m gs new9600m gt) but i have problem with temprature of this.observation that the fan doesn t work at 100% and i have 55 c only mozila open. thanks.......

    You're fine dude... as long as it doesn't go above 78c under heavy load that's normal (I wouldn't personally be worried if it went up to 85c). My as6920g idles high like that too, but it doesn't heat up that much when its under a heavy load, so I don't worry about it. My card rarely goes above 70c even when I haven't cleaned out the dust on my fan and heatsink fins in a while.

    I clean the dust very well. if i play the most wonted 2 i have 95 c and crashes. i think that the fan not work at 100% with 9600(m gt ddr2 1gb)

    Well, I guess you could try another vbios... That might do the trick

    I would upload mine if you had the ddr3 version

    which version, i had the 1.45. ddr2 video card

    95c with a DDR 2 card sounds like a cooling fault or card.

    I had a 9600m gt 1gb ddr2 it always idled at 35c and never went over 70c overclocked.

    Though I am using an 8930g but the temperatures shouldn't go THAT high on yours
