    Well i decided to do it. I ordered an 8600M GT last week and its in the air now should be with me by early next week il post some screens when i get it. 1 question im gona upgrade my cpu to a T8100 should i use thermal paste or a pad or nothing?


    Edit: I now just ordered my new T8100 and Arctic Silver 5 from scan.co.uk.

    Use Thermal paste for your CPU/GPU (Arctic Silver is good) :D

    Phase 2 complete i successfully upgraded my cpu to a T8100 :) and as for phase 1 my 8600M GT hasnt arrived yet :(

    I also have the 7720 (6395)....

    What BIOS level did you have to be at to use the Penryn?

    Also, was the video card an MXM-II?

    Those two questions can save me quite a bit of time.

    Have you folks found out how to use advanced bios settings? ´Couse i have none :(, is there any way to access them?
