Hello, I've noticed that there is a new firmware 1.10 for Acer 6935... Is it safe to install it? Someone tested? I checked in my BIOS that I have 1.04... thanks

When I start flash program "InsydeFlash", it says that the current BIOS is ID Aspire 6935, version 1.04 and the new BIOS is ID KM2/TT2, version 1.10... I am afraid to flash, is it OK the ID is KM2/TT2? I dont want to flash wrong firmware... although it should be OK since I downloaded it from 6935 Acer Site.

Hi, is there a problem with your laptop that you think flashing to another bios will cure. If not then leave it alone...

I got 5.9 from 5.3 for memory. The new bios fix the problem of the memory because it was running à 433 MHz (866MHz) before the bios fix, it's running now at 533MHz (1066MHz) as it should be with the new bios :)

Acer hasn't published any updates for the european 6930 so why do you need it? Do you have any problems? They might not be bios related.
