Hey guys, just wondering how the BT with your system has been working and how you got it to work with Windows 7 64-bit. I'm not sure if Acer uses multiple models but my hardware is the Broadcom BCM92045NMD (2045). I tried using the WIDCOMM software update from Broadcom's support website but it didn't detect the hardware and could not install the driver.

I'm currently using BlueSoleil, but honestly, it's a piece of crud (and it's a trial) and would prefer the native drivers and support. I heard that BlueSoleil disables certain things once the trial is over, so I'm trying to figure out how to get things working without it.

Windows found a newer version of the drivers (6.3.5.430), though I think my problems have to do with my MSI FS310 that's being stubborn (don't have many BT accessories to test).

I don't have a cell phone. The peripheral I'm using is the MSI FS310 BT stereo and Googling it seems that the device has a problem w/ Win 7's BT stack (though not enough users have this device to help troubleshoot). Only works with BlueSoleil, but I don't want to pay for their software.

What are the exact drivers you used from Acer (link) and what devices do you have connected? Does no one else use BT with Win 7 64-bit? Maybe I should just go back to Vista, it seemed to give me a lot better results...
