I have connected some Logitech X530 5.1 speakers to my laptop. The problem is that 3 of the speakers doesn't make a sound (Two side speakers and the center speaker)
When I go to the speaker configurations and play a test sound, all the speakers make a sound but that's the only time all 5 speakers are working. Only two side speakers and the subwoofer are working when I play music, watch dvds, browse the web etc, even the system sounds.
This happens in both WinXP and Vista (dualbooting)

    Any ideas? thanks in advance

You need to have DVD movie and Software player, that supports 5.1

Most DVD players supports 2 speakers only .
You have to pay extra for 5.1 software plug-in .
