I tried plugging my monitor into the VGA output of the 5940G and found that the display has become really sort of bright, its hard to see anything on the screen its as if the brightness has been put up really high, but the monitor is fine on any other machine, so thats not the problem. Also tested on my projector and its the same, does anyone know what this could be? im thinking it could be a driver issue perhaps?

Anyone got any other ideas? i went into the Nvidia control panel and fiddled with the color settings for a bit and it changed the brightnesses and everything but in the past when hooking a laptop up to a monitor its just worked and looked great - dont see why i need to fiddle around tweaking the settings!
