After 2 weeks of enjoying my 5920G (from BB), I decided to rid myself of the annoying D: partition. I was thinking that I could use eRecovery Management to do my backups to an external HD after removing the D: partition with Disk Management. Needless to say, it won't backup to the external D: drive. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

I don't know if the D: partition must specifically have to be on the disk where the OS is, but I do know that it will only backup to a FAT32 D: drive. You may want to try that first, if not then my next guess would be that the D: drive must be on the same disk as your OS.

Thanks, Incursis! I'll try reformatting my external HD (currently NTFS) and making it a FAT32 drive later this afternoon. I'll let you know if it works.
