    Hi,

My 5920H after doing a full eRecovery from the partition is all fine apart from the video driver being the standard windows VGA driver. The Nvidia driver is not recognised and Windows performance is at 1.0. If I try and install the Nvidia driver on it's own from eRecovery it tells me hardware not recognised. I just want to install the standard Acer Nvidia driver again, I am not worried about upgrading it to a forceware at this stage.

Does anyone know the simple software solution to this problem?

    cheers
    Andrew

well I managed to install the original driver after downloading it from acer support website, and since there was no option for a 8600m GS I had to select the GT.

I managed to install it following the instructions on Laptop2video, as it would not work with the setup program, bit strange for the original driver!

Can anyone tell me the best version to now update it to?
