    5520 Aspire Question

    My son has a 5520 that when we try to turn it on, it starts, lights come on, CD spins and then it shuts off. It will then repeat this over and over. I can get it to run using fn+esc and i was thinking maybe it was a BIOS problem and i could run a crisis recovery on it.

    So my question, is this likely a bios problem, and if so, does anyone know how i can run a crisis bios recovery with a CD preferably, but anyway would be fine.

    Appreciate any help anyone can offer.
