    Hi,

I am wondering what could be the reason:

when I turn on the notebook its display has noticeable red colour and it slowly goes to normal white within 20-30 secs.

It looks like it needs some time to heat the lamps behind the screen or something.

Has someone seen such issues? Does it mean that the screen is going to fail soon?

Yes, the CCFL is dying. You will need a new panel, or a replacement CCFL if you can get one (not many repair shops do CCFL replacements, unfortunately).
