On my g/f's acer I can't seem to find a way in the power settings so that while on battery it conserves automatically with less performance and then when plugged in it runs full performance.

I see how to manually do this, but is there a way for it to automatically do this?

Normaly you have got the epower utility on your tray. This utility switches between max. Power if plugged in and to less performance if on battery. This program is part of the Acer empowering tools.

it's not changing it automatically. I just plugged it in and it's not going to the max performance. Also when I unplug it, it is not going to the most conservative battery setting either.
