i connected my sony 19inch lcd to the VGA port of my 3820TG with catalyst 10.8.
whenever my laptop's display turn off due to inactivity. my external display won't turn off automatically.... it will still be on and says VGA disconnected...
this did not happen when i was using my old laptop with nvidia chip. the external display will go off whenever my laptop's display goes off as "no signal" instead of "disconnected," i know this might be my external monitor's problem. but is there anyway to set my external monitor to auto off like it used to be with the nvidia chip?
it's not cool when i wake up in the morning seeing my monitor is on for more than 10 hours with nothing on the screen......
