    My daughter has a ACER ASPIRE 3500 and she has a 2 inch wide line running from the top to the bottom of the LCD ,She can see behind it but the line is lighter than the rest of the lcd. Any ideas

    bad lcd. press gently along the top. if it improves or worsens then you will need a replacement lcd.

    I can press along the top and it does not improves or worsens .But my guess it is the LCD. I tried an external monitor and its not their.
