i have had mine around 3months, it only gets used a few hours of an evening and a bit over the weekend, the keyboard keys have started to wear, the finish is turning shiny. Just like keyboard which have had heavy use do.

    surely this isnt normal?

I had mine 6 months and the keyboard is almost like the day I bought it,with medium to heavy use.I just clean it with windex and a soft tissue and from time to time i vacum it.Avoid harsh chemicals like alchool. If things get really bad here is a solution.

cleaning isnt going to help as its worn down.

if it gets worse then ill have to return it under warranty, not impressed with the quality control, already returned one because of loose mouse buttons.
