    Hi !

I made a clean install of XP Pro on my WLMI 5672(which had Win XP HE preinstalled). Everything went fine untill I tried to intall ePower Management.
At the end of the install, when I opted to run it, it gave me an error (which it also gives every time i try to start it up).

"ePower_DMC.exe - COmmon Language Runtime Debugging Services

Appliaction has generated an exception that could not be handled.

    Process id=0xe24(3620), Thread id=0xe38(3640)"

I have .NET Framework 1.1 installed. Also tried uninstalling and reinstalling both ePower and .NET. Also tried with .NET 1.1 SP1. Also tried with .NET 2.0.

I got the driver from both the European

    and US site

Evrything was in vain. I tried finding a different version (from other models. I did manage to install eFrame v2.0 and Power Management v2.0 from the 5600 series. It completed the installs sucessfully, but trying to change the CPU speed had no effect on the speed (checked in Control Panel\System). It also gave errors and i decided to unistall v2.0 .

I did not have a blank dvds when I received the laptop and have no recovery disc.

If this help my current c: is in NTFS format (I formatted the old one when installing XP Pro).

I would sincerely appreciate if you could solve this issue for me as I tried to find solutions on the net for hours and still no result.

    Thank you in advance!
