I have this cooling pad for my Inspiron 6000, which has the same footprint as the e1505 so it will fit you notebook fine. I get great temp drops with this pad.

thanks, have you or anyone else found one with an usb hub that fits the e1505? I can't seem to find one anywhere, if not I guess I could also go with a notebook cooler and an usb hub later...

The one I linked earlier comes in a version with 4 port USB bub and card reader. I think it is overpriced though at $80.

doesnt look like vantec models will fit the e1505, seems like they're either too small or too wide

zalman doesnt exactly fit the e1505 but since its more like a platform, it may work

the pacific breeze I heard was loud and wouldnt really work as I would have to shut it off when I go to sleep

how loud is your notebook cooler lmark84l?

    thanks for all the suggestions

any other brands I should checkout?

Cool, should work great for you. I am sure there are other ones that fit the E1505 though, I just don't know what they are off hand. Do most seem too big or too small?

all the ones i saw were either too big or small, maybe half and half? if you look at all the brands listed here you could see how they fit
