    Is there something you can use so that you will have air flow under your computer if you want it on your lap or bed?

    I've heard you should not cover up the air vents by using a laptop on a bed, carpet etc. Is there some "portable" platform you can use to slide under the machine while you use it?

    there is also the "lapinator".

    i personally use an ilap to keep the heat off my lap.
