Greetings. For those of you that know Skype, know it as an awesome free, internet chat, p2p voice telephony program. As of late I have been using it to communicate but feel the desire for a good headset to make my communicating trully mobile.

What gaming/phoning headsets are out there?

Which companies to trust (e.g. Logitec)?

Logitech is great, but you can find comperable sets for less.

*I'm not too picky about headsets

I've seen sets go from $25 to a whopping $80. What does one look for in selecting the right set to make an informed buying decision so he would not overpay for features/brand unnecessarily?

edit-well, I'll just use a headset my brother gave me. It's nothing fancy but it does the job.

update- had bought an inexpensive, $6 (new!) headset off Buy.com: Micro Innovations, model MM730. Strongly recommend it for voice quality for making calls over Skype and for its small footprint. My search is over.
