whats the difference between a wireless mouse, a bluetooth mouse, and wired laser one? i dont mind my mouse being wired but yeah. just looking for the best deal. i play games a lot, so that means i'll need a wired one for best results right?

Wireless mouse: connection of the mouse and a custom receiver is a radio-connection with a very specific frequency. receiver is a small thumb-size usb device. mostly used for laptops.
Bluetooth mouse: connection of the mouse to PC is via a Bluetooth transceiver usually on laptops.
Laser mouse: (Not a wireless one) a Digital Signal Processor in the mouse analyzes the Light emitted by a LED inside the mouse and reflected by the surface and sends the translated signals over PS2 or USB port.

hey man, as you said, for gaming, you'll need a wired one. (at least you don't want to run out of battery exactly in the middle of a game!)
What do you mean by cheap?

I've got a Genius PS2 wired mouse and I can play very well with this. It's about 5$
But if you play FPS games like Counter Strike, you'd better pay a bit more and buy a Razer mouse. they are different in performance and price. cheapest in my city is about 35$. make your choice!

Laser mice use infared lasers. Thus the whole laser thing. Optical mice use LED's and reflections.

The G7 is a very capable wireless mouse. Its every bit as good as my mx518 wich is well renowned as the best gaming mouse.

Batteries take a long time to die, and since it comes with 2 of them. You can swap out batteries way before they die. Its not cheap tho I think it retials for like 70$? I got it on sale for 40 tho :p

I say go for a mx518 or a newer g5 for your mouse, just hunt around for a deal and you should get away in the 30$ mark. Its well worth the money vs a "cheap" cheap mouse.
