It's a decent price, not anything spectacular.

I had two Sony Walkman phones before, looks like it's the same minus the phone. The sound quality should be pretty good as the Walkman phones I had were.

Not really sure about the quality of video playback.

Also the UI is one of my favorites.

The sound quality of Sony's DAP's is usually higher than that of ipod, creative, or zune. They're in my top 3 of the best sounding players(along with Cowon, and sansa's clip/fuze). Although with some of Sony's older players you have to use their program called 'Sonic Stage' to put music on it and from my experiences with that program... well its one of the worst programs I've used. For some players there are hacks, for others there isn't. I can't say for certain if this one requires it, but I know up until fairly recently all their players required it.

You'll like it. I had a similar but older model Sony that was great.

btw you won't need their SonicStage software for this, or anything else they've released in the last couple years.

Not that recently... three years ago maybe... that's like ancient history now.

Oh, yeah, I just remember I hated it so I gave up on Sony for a while.
