    is it possible to take apart a zalman nc2000 and put like fans in it? like can i put the antec 120mm fans to it and stuff?

    If you are good at modding. There are members of this forum who have modded the Cryo LX, and there are even people who have built their own coolers.

    Dont bother pulling apart a Zalman. Just create a custom cooler like a lot of the members here. I personally like this one because its simple.

    Basically you just need:
    - Inclined Tray
    - 5v fans with speed control knob
    - 3/4pin fan plug to USB adapter
    - AC powered adapter or hub (optional)

    Keep in mind that the fans need to be rated at 5v if your going to use USB. Normal desktop case fans run at 12v.

    If you want to run fans at 12v, you will need a dedicated PSU, like a miniATX PSU. You can run as much fans as you want with this setup.

    You could always go for the Cooler Master X2 as well if you dont need a power horse

    I have actually tried taking apart mine. I get the screws out and all but nothing wants to move haha.

    There are more screws under all the rubber on the cooling surface.

    Basically there is no space to add more fans and the way the fan works it will be hard to get "better" ones.

    I can dig up pics of the inside but..
