Hey everybody. I am looking for a good external monitor for my laptop. I am currently using an old dell ultrasharp 19 in and its one of those old square ones :] YAY go old times. Anyway...I am planning to do an upgrade now.

I think I might be tall enough now that I need one of those adjustable height ones. So hit me up if you have any good suggestions.

I would like to know the price and possibly a link or a picture of the monitor.
I am looking for 20+ inch

I have a 24" Ultrasharp monitor and love it. The amount of available connections and the features this monitor provides is amazing. I know 24" monitors are not for everyone and using it just to browse the web is a bit goofy to me, but if you want a solid monitor I would go with that. Having the large screen real estate is a nice convenience if you multitask like I do.

If you could tell us what you would use the monitor for that would be helpful. Programming, gaming, designing, just browsing etc. There are different panel types and each serves its purpose well. If you're color conscious then you should look into getting the Eizo, NEC, Apple Cinema, etc. ones. I got the Ultrasharp because I also game, but not too often. I think the Ultrasharp is great in catering for gaming and graphics design. I'm not too serious into either, so I decided to get it.
