    hello
    what is the best cooling solution for a laptop these days?
    (i want a real solution & not a toy that will take down the temp down by 2-3 degrees & thats is...)
    a real effective solution
    (i have dell inspiron 1520)

    There is no single cooling solution that will drop all the temperatures by the amount you want but several solutions may be able to get it done.

    1) Keep your fan clean. Blow out the dust regularly

    2) Get a Zalman NC2000, I had a Vostro 1500 and it worked amazingly in tangent with the cooler. The vents generally aligned.

    3)Keep the area around your notebook clear to prevent trapping heat
