I was wondering if anyone knew where I should start with looking at notebook mount/stands for a vehicle. Specifically my new yaris.

I really want a stand in there but have no idea what to look for as I assume some of them have got to be horribly designed.

I'm sure as hell not spending over 200bucks on one.

What about these cheap homemade looking things on ebay that are all over the place?

what about these ones. Much better priced

I want to be able to have the notebook right in front of my head unit for navigation and movie video watching.

And want a long extension to be able to get it into my lap for work.

Anyone want to comment on the different design what might better suit me. I see the cheapest one just has one arm. While the more expensive one has 2 arms.

No not while driving of course. GPS for while drive not movies. I just can't imaging spending $270 on a stand like the one from the first post. 50-80 though I could spend.
