I'm thinking of getting the 12.1" Shinza Zeroshock for my ASUS UL20A, however I just have one concern.

I know that the material in the Zeroshock line of cases are superb as my brother use to own one, but I'm worried about the fit.

The inside of the case is 11.4" x 9.4", but my notebook is 11.8" x 8.4". How do you guys figure the fit will be? Lengthwise I think it'd be fine, but the difference in width of the machine and case is a fairly substantial number.

The next size up would be a little more comfortable lengthwise (no stretching of the case), but the dimensions are 12.4" x 9.3".

Do you guys have an idea as to if I should I get the 12.1" or the 13.3" one? :S

I recommend you size up. Ive spent much time here in Japan at stores testing various notebooks with the zeroshock cases for my self and family member sand they tend to have no give.

Most people I know size up one due to the cases being so picky for fit.

Or consider a Sleevecase from Waterfield. I just got a couple for my Thinkpads, and the quality and protectiveness are both excellent. The materials and craftsmanship are top notch, offering great padding and a nice soft liner. What looks like cheesy black and white checkering on the bottom in pictures is actually a sleek and classy metallic silver and black interwoven look. This is coming from someone who loves the Thinkpad look, so you know it's not overly flashy.

And they come in .5" intervals so you know the thing will fit just right.
