Ok well i have a wired xbox 360 controller and i really want to use it on call of duty 4.
It even recognizes that the controller is there and I downloaded the drivers but it doesn't work on Cod4 =/
Do i need to download a third party program to program my controller?
Or do i need to have a different driver?

COD4 and COD6 doesnt support Xbox360 controller at all, so dont bother getting it to work natively.

Medal of Honor 2010 instead does support it OTB. Infinity Ward removed the controller support on purpose in order to deliver a "pc-like FPS Setting" for PC audience.

If you truly want to use it (but in MP theres no point, trust me, Keybo+mice is what you need) get Xpadder and remap the controls to your controller.

I prefer the xbox 360 controller since that is what i am use to and i dont want to have to try and re adjust each time.

I used to prefer controllers at one time too but once you get used to the mouse there is no way you will want to use a controller for FPS, especially on PC.

^x2 it will take awhile to get used to, but once you get it, it will become easy to you, just give the mouse and wasd a chance :)

How do you select game controllers? I don't have that in control panel.
