I kind of want it to be a gaming mouse just cause I like the feel of them better but I wont be doing much gaming with the actual mouse if that makes sense.

The Razer Orochi looks pretty cool but my laptop does not have built in bluetooth, is there anything I can get to make this work?

I was almost going to get an Orochi until I noticed the Logitech Anywhere MX. Cheaper, same functionality, gain darkfield laser and hyperscrolling at the loss of DPI and some shiny lights. Also 2.4 GHz wireless is more reliable than bluetooth and since you don't have bluetooth you'd be losing a USB port either way.

On sale at Amazon right now for $45 AR

It looks even better in person. :) It's solid. I have been using it for about 4 months and I like it so far. No problems with Crysis, CoD MW2, CoD WaW, Fallout 3, Mirror's Edge etc... It comes with a carrying case too :p even though I haven't used it yet.

Just because it is Bluetooth, and Bluetooth is the "newest" wireless technology, does not automatically make it better. In fact, Bluetooth technology is one of the WORST mouse connectivity technologies.

I can go into this more if you'd like, but I'll skip the rant for now.

Just about the only reason to ever buy a Razer Orochi is if you don't want to give up a USB port. Or, you are a total Razer fanboy who has bought into their marketing, and are absolutely convinced that paying for their absolutely useless "1337 g4M3rZ features" like gold-plated USB connectors or the ability to turn your wired Orochi mouse into a half-assed wireless Bluetooth mouse somehow makes a better mouse.

If you want a good general use / productivity wireless mouse, I'd look into the Logitech Performance MX or the Logitech Anywhere MX. Both support darkfield imaging, which let you mouse on any surface (including glass or polished granite), have a free-spin mouse wheel, and excellent battery life. If you happen to want a more gaming-focused mouse, I'd recommend you look into the Logitech G700

Well I have a razer copperhead for my desktop and honestly just love the way it feels and the side buttons on it. I can care less about the "1337 gamer features" as long as it works good.

Only reason I was looking at the Orochi was because I love the only razer mouse I do have. But yeah I have had horrible experiences with bluetooth in the past and I know it is not the best option.

The Logitech anywhere MX looks perfect. Wish it was a little cheaper though :(
