I just wanted to know what everyones take is on wheeled luggage bags? My bag gets heavy when I am going places and walking and I was wondering what people think of using a wheeled laptop bag?

I am young and I feel like the stigma is older people use this type of bag. Here are my two choices, the wheeled or backpack...

    Any opinions?

Both are xray friendly which is nice.. .

I always use a backpack to carry my laptop and stuff to work. I agree with you on the stigma of using a wheeled bag, but they seem to be seeing more of them being used by commuters here in Australia. This is especially so for women. One problem I have is that at 6'2" tall, the wheeled bags I have tried (including suitcases) have to short a handle and I either have to bend down a bit or end up carrying it anyway.

As to the bags you linked, they appear to be good. Looks wise they are pretty boring, which does suit me. I like the pockets and storage in the backpack. The only thing I can't see is how well padded the bottom is to protect the laptop when you put it down.

I think slappa makes a new bag that has wheels, look into it, sometimes with the extra weight they can be nice

Thats for the opinion... I am really leaning to the backpack... Brenthaven has always been good to me and they tend to have high quality stuff....

The reason I am getting something from them is because I have a coupon to get a great deal with them.

It looks sexy and sleek. But a little pricey though.

Both of them look good. If your bag does get heavy, then wheels are a good choice.
