I've never had a problem with my VX Rev and I'm only using WiFi to connect to my network.

No, you should have no problems. I use my wifi and Vx rev all the time without any problems. In fact I use my 2.4GHz cordless phone at the same time without any problems either.

hmm i dont know if there is something wrong with my new VX but it feels like it is very unresponsive. I have been using a microsoft optical mouse for about 5 years and have loved it (only getting a new mouse so i can have wireless for my laptop). Now with the new VX it almost seems like my mouse is very sluggish, and i guess i am not use to laser but i need to lift the mouse farther off the table so the pointer doesnt go all over the place. I didnt install the disc, could this solve any of these problems?

Generally, I agree. But, anytime I max out the wireless connection (copy a large file or ), the buttons on VX Revolution becomes unresponsive. The cursor will move OK, scrolling with the wheel is no problem, but pressing a button doesn't always work. When this happens I start using the touchpad.

Never had that happen when I max out my connection which I do fairly often.

Thats strange. This should not be happening, my mouse never does this. Your mouse could be defective. Are you running Vista? I didn't even have to install the setpoint software to get the mouse working, so I don't think installing the software will help you. My mouse movement, scrolling, back and forward buttons work fine without this software but if I want the zoom or search buttons working I need to install the setpoint software. I will admit however that the back and forward buttons are not that responsive sometimes, have to click them a few times to work one in a while, don't know why.

i notice it in games a lot, but cant really notice it outside of games but when i do to confirm that something is wrong is i move the mouse back and forth in a very very small line, and i notice my pointer start heading in one direction and not staying in place, showing me that its not being very accurate. This might seem like i am nit picking it, but in FPS's (which is gonna be one of the main things i am gonna be doing with this mouse) i really notice the difference in accuracy from my optical and my new VX laser. Think i might bring it back, could this problem have anything to do with it being wireless?

Alright well i replaced it with a V320 logitech, and it def feels a lot better performance wise with accuracy, but i dont think i like the small size, so i think i might return this one also. I have been looking all over the place and there are no good optical mouses with some extra buttons on the side with a good size for games, i have looked all over newegg. I really dont see how laser mouses are better, for one it seems like you need to lift the mouse farther off the table without it going crazy, and the one VX revolution i had was not accurate at all.

I mean that I an doing something that completely fills the wireless channel. When I see problems with the mouse is when I am copying a large amount of data across the wireless network. This could be one multi-gigabyte file or a lot of smaller ones.

Hmm, interesting. Never even thought about this, but I don't have any problems with mine. Thanks for explaining.

It's a great mouse. It's smooth no matter what I do including downloading big files over wireless. I haven't tried it for gaming yet though because i just got it recently.

I thought most of the complaints with the vx rev interfering with wifi were at places like airports of coffee houses where there are a lot of people using wifi in a relativity confined space.

When it's just you sitting at your desk, you shouldn't have any problems.
