I own 2 mouses  err 2 mice.

A nice portable wireless one for travel and mobility, and a nice wired gaming mouse for gaming at home. How does this relate to your post? Not sure but I was looking at buying a Logitech mouse and decided $60 was quite a bit to spend on a non-gaming mouse. My point is: make sure you can handle the Nano as a daily user if you use your laptop all the time like some of us do. It is superior for portable on the go stuff, but might be tough if you sit at a desk and game most the time.

I bought the VX Revolution for 35$ from Wal Mart :p
I figured since I have big hands, it would be hard for me to use the Nano (I'm gonna be using my laptop very often)

Better is hard to say, but the Vx Rev is bigger than the nano, which I like as far as fit to my hands. But the nano has a smaller dongle.

ive owned every model of the newer VX/MX series since they came out. owned a couple VXs as well, love em to death. swear by em, would never have my desktop/laptop setups without them!

anyway, for a laptop? get the nano. perfect size for mobility, the battery life is AMAZING (im talking several months inbetween battery changes, whereas the revolution runs out all the time and needs its personal charger and ac adapter...)

also, it has the micro USB, which is VERY IMPORTANT. i broke a few usb plugs on my laptop while on my couch....slip off the side and snap, rendering the mouse dead. the micro-usb is awesome and is virtually invisible.

I like the micro USB design, but have heard complaints that it is very difficult to remove and has actually destroyed the USB port for some people. Don't know how credible those reports are though.

    - I'm sure that people have had bad experiences with the USB dongle. I've had my VX Nano for a while and I love it. I've taken the USB dongle out a few times without any issue. But I really haven't taken it out since it is so small and I haven't found the need to remove it.

The VX Nano is by far the best mouse I've ever used. The scroll wheel is nothing short of amazing and the responsiveness is top notch. If it weren't for the G5 being a better fit in my hand for gaming, I'd never use anything else.

i just got my vx revolution today
the size of the mouse is nearly perfect but i still find it a little uncomfortable... since i have giant hands.. just wish it was a little bigger..
the mouse is very responsive, and the frictionless wheel is just AMAZING!
but the battery only lasts 3 months... compared to 6 months on the VX Nano..
and it also doesnt have any interference with the wireless router or wireless home phone like some people have stated.

perhaps when you're more accustomed to it you can write a thorough report/review of the device thus helping other users with their decision? :p

I use a VX Nano and absolutely love it! The form factor is wonderful for portability and the receiver is top notch - I never have to remove it :)

For those that don't want something as small as the Nano or as big as the revolution, Logitech recently rolled out the VX 450 Nano - Its a V450 shaped mouse with a Nano receiver. They can be had for $35 on sale too!

I feel the same way. I wish I got the bigger MX Revolution. Still, great mouse. Despite it loosing some accuracy over my wired, I don't think I'll ever go back to a corded mouse.

As far as size I guess it depends how you like to hold your mouse. Some people like to palm the whole thing while others like the heal of their hand on the mouse pad. I identify with the later group which the VX revolution caters too. If you want your whole hand on the mouse then the MX revolution would be a better bet for you but you have to deal with a non removable Li-ion rechargeable battery and a higher arch for your hand.
