This is not directly related to laptops but I thought you might be able to tell me if this exists.

I'm trying to set up some computer speakers to my boss' new TV. Speakers have a USB audio out, and TV only has analogue, ditigal out, and HDMI.

Does there exist a converter cable/box for that?

I don't know of one specifically but there most likely is. The issue however, is cost--$50-$100? Good converters tend to be more expensive then the solution is worth.

So unless the speakers are very good (unlikely considering USB only), or you plan to use a computer or an amp with both ports as a pass through, then you're probably better off just getting a pair of speaker that fit the TVs output.
