This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Anyone know whether or not it's important to use the "safely remove hardware" function before removing a USB drive? Naturally, one wouldn't want to remove it while saving, etc., but if there's no activity, is it a problem?

    Good! I hate doing that everytime I plug an USB key....I got nagged by the IT Department Manager when I unplugged those things without doing that ......
