    Hey guys!

Well I finally settled on the rock Extreme 770 notebook and it should be delivered by the end of the month, can't wait!

Anyway I just realised that it only has about 3 USB ports; obviously this ain't enough for me. So I'm looking at external hubs at the moment but the main complaint seems to be that even the externally powered ones do not supply enough power for certain peripherals. I'd be the following:

    Headphones
    Gamepad
    MAYBE external HDD
    Freeview stick
    mp3 player cable

Would a standard (been looking at the powered Belkin range) hub provide enough power for all of these? If not, what's the alternative?

    Cheers!

A standard powered USB hub should be fine. I use a Belkin powered hub, and have connected a variety of peripherals with no issues.

So long as the hub is powered you shouldn't have a problem.
