Always wondered about this but I can't seem to find any info. Is there such thing as, say, a pen you could use to activate your touchpad, maybe for drawing or something? Maybe similar technology as used w/ a Wacom Tablet.

Anyway, can anyone explain what activates the touchpad? I've tried tons of things and nothing but skin evokes any response. Maybe I can make something.

i believe its activated by electrostatic conductivity
meaning something that can conduct a current but not realllly sure on that part

there are things out there for artists that are like mousepads that plug into ur usb port
and it comes with a pen, the pad reads the pen as you write so its like ur drawing on your computer almost like a pda touchscreen
