I want to purchase a Toshiba's bluetooth SD card and Microsoft's bluetooth mouse for my laptop soon.

Before i make this decision, (1) i want to make sure that once i have bluetooth sd card installed, the doogle which comes with microsoft's bluetooth mouse is not needed? (2) does bluetooth consume lots of battery life? let's say my battery will last 3 hours=180mins now. how long should i expect to have when bluetooth is enabled with bluetooth mouse. (3) is toshiba's bluetooth sd card any good?

I'm not sure about the 1st one..

Bluetooth doesn't take an extraordinary amount of battery life but it still takes battery life, and it's kinda noticable. I'd say something like 10-25 minutes off.

You shouldn't need the MSFT dongle, but Bluetooth is far from perfect. Several owners have reported no problems in using the MSFT mouse with other Bluetooth cards, so I'd think you'll be okay.
