Just got my Dell E1705 and so far am blown away. This 17inch screen (1900x1200) is the best I've ever seen on a laptop. Plus with the Geforce GO 7900GS, its fast enough to run Half-Life 2 at native resolution at highest quality. Amazing.
But nothings ever good enough for me. I'm looking to order 2 external 19inch LCD screens (one for each side of my laptop) and hook them all up to get 3 displays total. For software development, the more screen space the better.
Does anyone know if this is possible? I checked and verified the LCDs I want to buy support both DVI and VGA. And I see both a DVI and VGA port on the back of the laptop. Are the ports either/or, or can you use them both at the same time?
If anyone has access to 2 lcd displays and a E1705, please try it out and let me know if it works, or if there are any resolution limitations
Responses greatly appreciated!

You can use them both at the same time, but you can not still use the built in LCD. The nvidia display console does not allow three displays. I've never even heard that it is possible to do it in Windows.
