    Hi,

    I am having Lenovo Thinkpad T61 laptop. Since there is no S-video cable on it, I purchased Thinkpad Advanced Mini Dock (250410U).

    I don't know whether it has s-video or not? I think it's not there. But it has DVI-D port.

    i would like to connect my laptop to TV (Samsung 32'' LCD). Can I connect through Thinkpad Advanced mini dock?

    what is DVI-D port?

    Apart from Advanced mini dock, whether I need to purchase any cable ? pls let me know with all details and how to connect.

    My Samsung HDTV has a VGA port does yours? Or better yet buy a DVI to HDMI cable.
