So I have my XPS 13 coming tomorrow and want a cooling pad. I won't be using it on my lap too much but want to keep it in good condition and running cool. I read about this Thermapak product and it looks pretty cool. Does anyone have any experience with it?

The Thermapaks arent bad coolers, as ive read on reviews, but you are better off going for a regular notebook cooler, like the Enermax Aeolus CP001 (review in sig), NZXT Cryo, and Zalman NC1000. ;)

I use the 17 inch Thermapak when I travel with my laptop. It is not as effective compared to my NC2000 with the fans off, but it does its job as a supplement to the laptops cooling when used on your lap or on a tabletop. The Thermapak is mainly for keeping the serial number on the bottom of your laptop from branding into your jeans and to prevent the fans from being blocked.
