It's kind of strange when inputting with my laptop keyboard, sometimes it seems it will activate the right-click button (?), or it will skip a few letters I typed and resume the later on... Any ideas?

It's Asus A8jm, I don't think it's hardware problem, but I have done a new windows install, and I only installed some basic drivers (ie: internet, audio, graphic card), would missing a driver be the case?

The first thing I would try is to disable your touchpad. On a lot of laptops, the keyboard and the touchpad draw bandwidth from the same port inside the computer. Disabling the the touchpad will leave for bandwidth for your keyboard, hopefully resolving any key skipping issues. :)

Disabling the touchpad seems to work, thank you.

Having to deal with woeful conditions and I think you all may help me on this. I have a HP Compaq Presario which I got about 2 years back. Now whenever I am trying to type specific alphabets are not showing up instead they are being replicated by special characters like ~!# etc. I have asked tech support to look into this matter but prior to that can you all figure out what might be causing this problem!
