So, this might not really be able to be answered, but I am just gonna throw it out there!! For a while now, I have wanted a controller that uses bluetooth, so I can run emulator games without wires or usb adapters. None have come out as of yet.

However, I hear the new Xbox uses bluetooth for it's controllers. Does anyone know if it will ever be possible to use one of these controllers for the PC?? Maybe with a special program or something?? It would be nice, I REALLY want a bluetooth controller!!

I suppose it's possible, but someone would have to hak together a driver for it. There are other wireless solutions though.

Don't see why not, I've been using my PS2 controller on my PC for a while now :p

I needed a conversion cable thats all.

A conversion program should surface soon...in a few weeks I would say

Well Brian, I may be a bit picky, but I would really like my controller to use bluetooth. To me, there's no point in wasting money on a wireless controller if I still need to plug stuff in!!

But it sounds like this may be possible. Nice :) I will keep an eye out for somebody to come up with one of these programs. Thanks alot!!

Sorry Sam, there are Playstation emulators, but no PS2 emulators. They exist, but are still in their early stages, and will probably be a few years still till they are capable of actually playing games. I'd give up on that one for a while!!

Bah, how is this turning into emulator talk??! Anyway, Samwise, I know nothing about actually creating an emulator, other than it is REALLY hard. So it takes a long time. And the people that make them don't get paid, so they can't put their lives on hold to make it. But most importantly, it takes so much to actually run them, there isn't even a computer that exists today that is capable of running a PS2 emulator to a playably level. So again, you have a few years still. Project 64 (the best N64 emulator) just really released its first pretty well rounded version less than a year ago. When did the N64 come out??

It's still new so just wait for someone to come up with some kind of driver that will make your request possible.

You know it's gonna happen, just a matter of time, so be patient :D

    Cheers,
    Mike
