So ya I'm looking for a small laptop mouse with forward/back buttons. Something like the Logitech Anywhere MX. I would love to have that mouse but it is a little expensive so I'm looking for alternatives. Thanks :D

If your laptop has Bluetooth and you don't plan on gaming with it, the Dell 5-button Bluetooth Travel mouse is good. It's pretty cheap, and it's one of the very few Bluetooth mice with two thumb buttons.

The Logitech Marathon Mouse M705 is $26.99 with free shipping. It's a refurb at Logitech, but still reliable and a good deal:

    Use this code: logi_m705_72611

    Marathon Mouse M705 - Refurbished

What is your maximum spending limit? And, what are your uses going to be (Multi-Media? Gaming)? :)

^^I ordered the other day, got it for $39.99 during a nice Logitech sale. Should be here tomorrow..looking forward to receiving it :)

@OP, I checked to see if (by chance) the deal was still going for the Anywhere Mouse MX and it's done. :(

I did find it at meritline for $39.99...(open box).

Thank you for all your replies.

As I'm outside of the US it's hard to say what my budget is. So lets say it's limitless. Give me any suggestions and I'll see the price in my state.

I'll be using this mouse for general stuff (web browsing etc.) and not so much for gaming if any gaming.

The Logitech M705 looks good and is in my price range but it seems like a full size mouse?

The Logitech M505 doesn't have the forward/back buttons as far as I see?

I have read that Bluetooth mice have poor battery life. Is this true?

And one final question. Since I won't be using a mouse pad does the Logitech M505 work on any surface like the Anywhere MX? Apart from glass I doubt I'll be using it on a glass surface.

Buy two, three of these on ebay for the same price. They are small, I have a couple of them. NOT miniature but smaller than a regular mouse. rocketfish nano | eBay

If you have problems with anyone shipping outside of the USA, let me know and I can help you.

    NP : )

Speaking of mice, and OP was liking the Anywhere Mouse MX, I just received mine yesterday and did a pic' comparison with my Nano. I may do a further review on both, not sure... So, far it's an awesome mouse :D

    Thanks for your replies.

I went to the store yesterday and tried out the Anywhere MX. It was too small for my hand so I tried out the Logitech M510 which is a little bit bigger. It was just the right size for me so I bought it. It is a great mouse, responsive, works on many surfaces without a mouse pad, has the buttons that i needed, and Logitech claims it has a 2 year battery life. We'll see about that :)
Anyway thanks for all your help guys :)
