    Hey,
Does anyone have input on a case for the 710m... I've read previous posts, and it seems like options are pretty limited for the 12.1" crew.

The Shinza's memory foam appears (based on mfg specs) to be twice as thick as Sumdex. And since I'm planning on toteing my lil guy in a filled backpack, I thought the more protection the better.

I think I like the clamshell design too -- to avoid scratches -- but I could be convinced otherwise.

People seem to think the fit is tight, but its only 7mm beyond spec, so I'm not too concerned. Just want to make sure a $30 sleeve is well worth it.

Edit: Any PC users try the MacCase binder?? It looks pretty nice, but its pricy, and I worry about the fit. I like the idea of a sleeve, with a bit more protection from books...

Anyway, I appreciate any & all thoughts.

Shinza = Worst customer service ever!

I emailed them numerous times, they finally emailed me back today. My order was placed on the 28th of feb! They said my package was shipped march 1st but returned because of problem with customs??? They said it was reshipped and im awaiting a tracking #.

    Im very disatisfied with them.

Hmmm... I'll probably go off of eBay anyways. They may or may not be knockoffs, but they're a good deal cheaper.

**Edit: Just bought the Sponge from MacAlly... I'm hoping it fits, but I liked the memory foam. And I wanted a clamshell. The retractable handles and "wedge" to keep the fans open clear seem cool.

Was scared off of Shinza by many reports of ****py customer service, and the Sudmex was too small.

I really like the idea of the memory foam... I feel like it will protect my Dell from textbooks & my clumsiness better.

I saw the Sumdex & it looks nice, but it doesn't seem like any size will fit well. Its 11.7 (<-- the problem)x9.5x1.5. Same problem w/ the Shinza -- not to mention horror stories about customer service.

I saw the Ziotech, but the exterior looks like foam -- with no cover material. Seems like it would rip easy.

I also think I really want a clam shell w/ handle.

So, surprize: I think I'm S.O.L.... Generally happens to we neurotic perfectionists.
