Well, I don't actually have a laptop yet, but I'm in the process of buying one, probably with a 15.4 screen.
Looking to buy a backpack for it, that will be good for me to go to University with... but I also want it to look good.
So what is the best brand of bags for that ? like the Apple of laptop bags ?

The apple of laptop bags? Pish posh.

There are many out there you just have to look around. Like ebags.com or something like that.

Booq is really nice, but expensive.

    Cheers,
    Mike

Well, depends on your definition of sexy...I like the ogio metro because it is also a backpack, which I find 'cooler' than a dedicated laptop bag....for me, some of those slick cases look a bit to trendy....I also find that I rarely go places with just the laptop, so I like having the ability to bring along other items....such as a sexy lunch, sexy sexy cardigan, or a sexy hat with ear flaps if my mom tells me it is going to get real cold.....

I like the tombihn Bags www.tombihn.com

I use the brainbag backpack and the monolith sleeve.
If you need a backpack that can carry your laptop and hall binders and text books I highly recommend the Brainbag. As a plus it looks like a regular backpack rather than one specific for a laptop. Which is great if your riding the subway late at night.

    Check www.mac-case.com

They have been making cases for Apple longer than anyone else and
have a pretty unqiue design style. Their new Sling is pretty radical.
And their customer service is excellent.

Also check www.case-pc.com for some cool new sleeves. A co-worker
of mine got one and it's pretty sexy. For a Sleeve.

Whoa that Nike bag is way too expensive.

Another alternative is to check out NorthFace bags, they have many bags and packs that have laptop compartments and although it might not be a perfect fit my fairly big Z70Va can fit into their Recon II backpack, and the bag itself is nice as heck.

I comfirmed this by emailing them and asking if it would fit. I gave them my dimensions but the funny thing is I asked for the exact dimensions of the laptop compartment and they didn't reply. Weird eh?

    Cheers,
    Mike

Yeah that Nike bag is very expensive but it worth every penny IMHO.

For some people a bag is not important but for me to get the best bag was essentiel.I bike for about 30 min everyday to get to school rain or no rain. I wanted a laptop bag that looked sexy while being able to carry my lunch, all my engineering books and my laptop while taking a beat everyday.

The bag is very well made and it has a alot of compartment. I never tried Booq but I had NorthFace bag before the Nike Epic. I wonder if the Booq can be as good as the Epic since the almost have the same price.

But comparing the Nike to the Northface Recon is just unfair. Even with the price difference I would take the Epic anyday.

    I snatched this bag:

    http://www.targus.com/ca/product_details.asp?sku=TSM006CA

When there was a sale, got it for $50 shipped, which was a good deal. The bag is pretty good, not much space for everything else, but the laptop fils in great, and is padded well. It fits the power bar, mice, and other accessories, though a 2" binder may fit by itself.

Just look for a bag that does not fit any non-apple laptops and you will have the "apple of laptop bags"

Otherwise I will 2nd the recommendation of Tom Bihn stuff. I have a Horizontal Brain Cell and a Super Ego with an Ultimate Shoulder Strap...works perfect for me and are easily the best made bags I have ever owned.

Sony makes some amazing, sleek and sexy, leather cases for laptops. Expect to pay $120-200 for one though.
