Im looking for a cable or adapter or anyway that i can convert a Laptop sata connection into and internal usb 3.0 or even 2.0 connection (usb 3.0 preferred). Ive looked all over and havent found anything but usb 3.0 to sata.
It has to be Sata Male to USB 3.0 Female.

You can't make a SATA port into a USB port. They're different types of interfaces and the only reason you can do USB to SATA is because there's a chip in the middle.

Well I think I found a solution for a laptop. Got those things plus an angled 90 degree pin header I'll let ya know how it goes. Fits perfect in a 2.5 hard drive slot.

That looks like an mSATA to SATA adapter, which is not compatible with PCIe even though it looks similar. What you're trying to do is PCIe (from the mainboard) -> SATA (disk controller also on the mainboard) -> PCIe adapter (doesn't exist)-> USB 3.0. This can't happen because the SATA port is not a general purpose bus and cannot be adapted into one.

@JCordero31 not to point at elephant in the room, but it won't work. No chance on Earth, no way in hell, not even IN SPAAACE. /=
You could tell what you were trying to achieve with this, maybe someone will be able to provide a working solution.JCordero31 likes this. -
I will try my luck it only cost 15 bucks

That's an M.2 to SATA adapter, and even states that it won't do PCIe in the top right hand corner of the image. Sorry bud, there's no way around this one, unless you want to believe in magic.

The keying doesn't really matter, it's still a PCIe interface on that USB card.
From the item description: "Compliant for PCI Express M.2 specification 1.0"
I guess we're in a post facts world after all -- I've tried to explain it a few different ways that this isn't possible. But good luck, fellow traveler. /threadJCordero31 likes this. -
