    Hi,

I'm looking for one that has 10/10 looks, easily packed and is relatively cheap. I know the recent microsoft arc touch mouse has all that, but, it's too expensive.

    Are there any alternatives?

    THanks.

What do you care about when it comes to looks? Is it the shape / color / design of the mouse? Do you care about things like colored LED's?

If you don't care about colored LED's: Logitech Anywhere MX mouse.

What is relatively cheap? Give us a budget to work on, also a few more examples of what qualifies as "10/10" looks would help too.

I've always liked the looks (and performance) of Razer mice. They're all black with slight LED accents, usually on the scroll wheel or logo, depending on the mouse. Not sure what you define as "easily packed", but for years I would just unplug my DeathAdder, stuff it in a sock and put it in my bag, and that worked just fine for taking all of 10 seconds to do. They also have a more portable model, the Orochi, which connects via USB cable or wireless via Bluetooth, and comes with a carrying case.

    Also, define "relatively cheap".

What I am trying to ask is, what is your interpretation of "sleek", "not too bulky"...etc. One person's perfect mice can be another's worst fit.

Best looking and performing mice are above $40. In my opinion, worth the money. So up that budget and a whole lot more mice become available that not only fit your requirements, but you preferences.

hmm, sleek as in not many bumps on the mouse, one nice curve. not too bulky as in it should be compact, i'll rather it be small then big

I like the Arc mouse, its great for a laptop, the usb dongle folds inside the mouse for transport, then it folds out for a good sized mouse.

Get the best mouse you can afford. Go to Staples and/or Best buy to have a look. Look at Logitech and Microsoft mice. Some of the more expensive mice have some really nice features and capabilities that you will come to enjoy. Such as free spin scroll, darkfield laser to use on any surface, horizontal scrolling, programmable buttons.

Oh man, I cannot tell you how nice it is to have a free-spin wheel mouse. The G9 I have has it (it can switch between free-spin and indented stop) and I absolutely love it.
