The keyboard without warning just stops performing. Sometimes it can be fixed with a un plug reboot plug back in other times its dead.

I have the Lycosa keyboard, and I love it!!! I have not had any problems with it. It's very comfortable to type on and is easy to read when you play in dim light/the dark. I'd recommend that over the Tarantula.

I have the G15 LCD on my m1730 laptop, and it's alright. That's the main selling feature for the keyboard and it's kind of gimmicky.

Gaming keyboards are usually for those who stroke too fast for regular keyboards to pick up or for those who stroke multiple keys (for me up to 7 but my keyboard will not let me stroke more then 3/4)

    honestly i agree with nocturnal

I mean i game on my laptop keyboard nd the cheapest microsoft mouse i could buy nd they are fine... if i were to buy a keyboard i would go for just a nice plane simple keyboards (like the small apple ones) rather than a huge bulky over-rated gaming keyboard

ps gaming is like all skill man... equipment will only do so much

What game forces u to press more than 3-4 buttons at once? ..its just marketing that makes u think... ooooh i need a keyboard with hyperresponse..

For Gaming...mouse is more important than keyboard..if u ve read my Sticky (all you need to know about Gaming mouse) then u ll kno why u need a Good Gaming grade mouse.

But having a USB Multimedia keyboard is more than enough.

and Gaming keyboards are very heavy...especially Reclusa.

Nocturnal, I bought a gaming keyboard because:
    1) Yes, it is more responsive than a regular keyboard. I haven't had any problems with button presses not being registered.

    2) More comfortable to type on and use for gaming than a standard keyboard.

    3) Better materials mean it's more durable and doesn't feel like a cheap chinese toy that will snap at any moment.

    4) Extra features such as the ability to make any key a macro.

keyboard is more about comfort and feel than anything else. if you like that nice, old skool clicky feel, you could get one of those mechanical jobbies.

i don't think there's any real 'performance' advantage to a gaming keyboard.

Get the G15, the display is awesome with the SirReal plugin for it.
