Okay, so I was playing the other day and my left click started functioning like it was a right click. I went to my desktop and sure enough both buttons work as a right click. I have tried reinstalling the drivers, evertyhing, but nothing seems to work.

    Hmm...that's rather worrisome...

I just got a deathadder yesterday. Have you upgraded to driver 1.08 and firmware 1.25?

have you double checked in the razer software that the button has not been changed and also in the windows mouse settings in control panel ?

Haven't had this issue myself. Very strange. Like Polsta said, check the Razer software.

Well, tried my other mouse and it works, so perhaps it is the software. I wll try the software and see if this helps.

EDIT: Hey, tried my mouse and it works. Thanks for the help!

Okay, this is starting to get annoying. It has started to do this again, and I have no clue what to do about it. I have tried everything,, even completely reconfiguring the buttons around and reinstalling the software about 50 times. Any help would be thankful.

Man... did u try connecting DeathAdder to another computer?

    Do this:
    1. Uninstall the Deathadder Driver completely.. Reboot your comp & Reinstall from the website

    2. If the problem is still not Fixed... Try DeathAdder With Windows Default USB mouse Driver
    3. If still not fixed then try Deathadder on another computer.. maybe your USB ports have a problem

    4. If still not fixed (wow) ..then Return your Deathadder.. i assume u must have kept your Sales Receipt.

    5. I am one of the earliest users of deathadder.. bought it when it had just released... i dont have any problems with it..and hence i cant imagine what might be causing your problem

well, the mouse seems to work, with the lone exception of Call of Duty 4. For whatever reason the mouse has both buttons shoot and look down the sight. It works fine otherwise. Any ideas?

Have you uninstalled any other mouse drivers/utilities you've used previously?

Is your dog chewing on the chord while you are gaming? Mine was and it wreaked havoc on my DA functioning properly - LOL

I've rerouted the cable and surprisingly, despite the destruction ensued by poochy, it still works like a charm!

Hmm...I've never had an Issue with my DeathAdder, like said before if you havent DL the firmware that could be an issue, and maybe you have one of your five profiles set to have them both click right and you hit it on accident? Not really sure what the prb could be but good luck :-/ .

Okay, I am really sorry about my frequent complaining and the fact that I keep bringing this up, but I don't know where else to turn.

I noticed something today while I was trying my mouse. Whenever I go to reinstall the driver and plug in the device, the device manager never comes up with "found new software" or "Deathadder Mouse" or something to that nature. Could this be the problem? The mouse worked fine for about a week before it started going on a fritz. Any ideas.
